Installation work on the optical fiber network is being carried out daily to gradually reach most areas of Cyprus. When the Cyta Fiber network reaches your area, you will be informed about it.
As soon as work begins on the Cyta Fiber network in your area, information about this will be sent to your home and, if you are a Cyta customer, you will be informed by phone.

Data is transmitted as light signals through small, flexible strands of glass at speeds of up to 2Gbps.
Such speeds are ideal for virtually any online activity, such as:
- Sending and receiving photos, videos and other large files immediately.
- Simultaneous connection of multiple devices, such as computers, mobile devices, tablets, game consoles, security systems, etc.
- Online gaming with no buffering.
The Cyta Fiber network is also extremely reliable and is not impaired by issues that can affect an xDSL connection and speed, such as interference from other electrical sources/cables, the weather and the distance from the Internet Service Provider’s network.
For Internet Business products, all the current speeds of 150/400/700Mbps, 1Gbps and 2Gbps.
For Internet Home products, all the current speeds of 200/300/500Mbps, 1Gbps and 2Gbps.

The Cyta Fiber network is being extended daily with the installation of more optical fibre cables. Once you have been informed that the Cyta Fiber Network has reached your area, you can apply online, by phone (132) or by visiting any Cytashop.
The transfer is free if you use a Cyta Internet Home service. Terms and conditions apply.

It will be activated within approximately two (2) months from the time you submit your application. The specific time needed depends on the state of the internal wiring in your home.
Connecting to the Cyta Fiber network is simple. Once you have applied to connect, we shall call you to arrange a day and time for our technical crew to visit you install the optical fiber and the special equipment in your home. The procedure should take approximately one hour. In an apartment block, the connection will be made on the ground floor of the building up to and inside your apartment. In this case, we kindly ask you to inform the individual or company responsible for the administration of the building.
No. All your devices will continue to operate as before.
On the day the new service is activated, your existing connection will be interrupted until the process of connecting you to the Cyta Fiber network is completed.
