I am not a Cyta customer and this is my first time ordering online. Do I need to visit a Cyta store?

You don’t need to visit a Cyta shop. You can submit your order online using the digital identification.
When you choose the service/product you want and start the order, you have the option to register as a new Cyta customer remotely.

What type of new Cyta customers can opt for remote digital identification?

You can opt for remote digital identification if you are an individual, it is not offered to legal entities (organisations, companies, partnerships, etc.).

Is remote digital identification mandatory?

No, you are not obligated to complete the remote digital identification process in order to place an order online. In such a case, to register as a new customer, you will need to visit a Cyta store.

I am not a Cyta customer; what documents do I need to have with me to order my first service either through remote digital identification or at a Cyta shop?

If you are Cypriot citizen: Government ID

If you are a European Union citizen:

  • With permanent residence in the Republic of Cyprus: European Union ID Card OR Passport & Permanent Residence Permit MEU3 OR Property Title / Sales Agreement
  • Without permanent residence in the Republic of Cyprus: European Union ID Card OR Passport & Accept €150 credit limit terms.

If you are a ΝΟΝ European Union citizen:

  • With permanent residence in the Republic of Cyprus: Passport & Immigration Permit OR Property Title / Sales Agreement (exception citizens of the United Kingdom: UKW3 OR Property Title / Sales Agreement)
  • Without permanent residence in the Republic of Cyprus: Passport & Accept €150 credit limit terms.

For direct debit authorization, you need to provide an IBAN Certificate of an account eligible for direct debit authorization.

What additional documents do I need to transfer my number from another provider to Cyta (number portability)?
To transfer your number to Cyta network, you will need your ID and the latest bill you received from your provider. If your current connection is a prepaid mobile service, then you will only need your ID and your SIM card.

What do I need to do to complete my remote digital identification?

You should follow the steps below:

  1. Submit a picture from your Passport/ID. Submission can be done either by taking a photo or by uploading a file of the document image.
  2. For verification purposes, you will be asked to take a photo of your face, from your device's camera.
  3. Upload supporting documents for Customer Contract purposes.
  4. Accept necessary contracts/terms and conditions.

After all the above has been successfully completed, you will be ready to proceed with submitting your order details.
