Freedom to go without your iPhone

With Apple Watch Cellular you are always connected with your friends and family, without your iPhone nearby, even while roaming.

You only need to activate SameNumber with eSIM exclusively from Cyta.

Activation procedure:

Place your main device (iPhone) next to your smartwatch (additional eSIM device).

  1. Download the Apple Watch App on your iPhone from App Store (if it is not already downloaded).
  2. Open the Apple Watch App.
  3. Turn on your Apple Watch and wait for the Apple Logo to appear.
  4. From the Watch App select “pair new watch”.
  5. Press on My Watch and then press Mobile Data.
  6. Press Set Up Mobile Data.
  7. When asked if you want to share your plan with your Apple Watch select “Yes”.
  8. Type your Identity Card os Passpost number to activate SameNumber on your smartwatch. If you are a business customer, use the Portability Number, shown on your monthly bill.
  9. Click on the service description and press the activation button.
  10. The order is activated almost immediately but in some cases it can take longer if there are unforeseen problems.
  11. Once SameNumber has been activated, you will receive a confirmation message via SMS.
  1. Pair your new Apple Watch with your iPhone by following the on-screen instructions.
  2. Open the Watch app on your iPhone. Select your new Apple Watch and tap Set Up Cellular.
  3. Select Transfer Existing Plan and tap Continue.
  4. Wait while the required checks are completed. If prompted, enter your identification details and confirm.
  5. Wait for the transfer to complete without closing the application or web page.
  6. Once the process is complete, your cellular plan will be activated on the new Apple Watch and deactivated on the previous Apple Watch. A confirmation message will be displayed on your iPhone and, where supported, a confirmation SMS may also be sent.

Using your Appe Watch while roaming for calls, text and mobile internet feels just like when being local, no need to have your iPhone nearby.

  1. Apple Watch Series 6 or recent, Apple Watch SE or Apple Watch Ultra with cellular
  2. iPhone and Apple Watch with most recent software update (iOS 18.4 & watchOS 11.4)
  3. Connect to a provider that supports VoLTE and international roaming
