SafeWeb is offered to enhance the security of our customers when browsing the Internet through the Mobile Telephony network.

With the new enhanced protection, your internet connection is protected by blocking access to malicious websites that:
are designed to infect devices with malware and viruses,
aim to steal personal information, financial data or personal passwords.

How does it work

SafeWeb checks whether the website the mobile customer wants to visit contains malicious content. In case the content of the website is recognized as malicious, access to the website is not allowed and the user is redirected to an informational page for security reasons.

SafeWeb can be activated or deactivated from Cyta Stores & Partners or by calling the Cyta Call Center at 132. In the future it will also be possible to do this via the MyCyta Mobile app.

no need to install any software application.

Like any solution that offers security from the dangers of the internet, SafeWeb cannot guarantee 100% coverage from malicious websites and viruses. SafeWeb, however, with the technology it uses, significantly contributes to reducing the user's degree of exposure to these internet risks.

How does it work?

SafeWeb checks if the website you want to visit contains malicious content. In the event that website content is identified as malicious, for your protection, access to it is blocked and you are directed to an informational page. You do not have the option to proceed in any way to access the website unless you disable the SafeWeb service.

An antivirus program is software that you must install on every computer/device. Antivirus protects the device from viruses from the internet and from external devices such as USB, external disk, etc. that try to infect the device.

SafeWeb offers protection to the Mobile device when they connect to the internet through Cyta's mobile network. Protects, in any communication made with the internet, the devices not only from viruses, but also websites that aim to steal personal information.
