What are the main facilities that Cytavision offers?

Cytavision offers the following:

  • Live broadcast of TV channels in High and Ultra-High Definition.
  • Live broadcast of football matches either through sports channel packages or via purchasing individual football matches.                                                                                                        
  • Viewing: you can view the contents of your package on other devices. CytavisionGo enables you to watch Cytavision away from home in Cyprus and abroad (EU).
  • Video on Demand lets allows you to rent Movies & TV Series to watch on TV and mobile devices.
  • Catch-Up TV up to 7 days: If you miss a programme you can go back and watch it up to 7 days after its original screening.
  • Pause & Continue: You can stop watching a program for a while and  restart it from where you left off. (or) You can pause the viewing of a programme and resume it later from where you left off.
  • Start Over: If you miss part of a programme, you can restart it from the beginning. (or) If you miss the beginning or part of a programme that has already started, you can watch it from the beginning.
  • Reminders can be activated for programmes or series you don’t want to miss.
  • Create Profiles for your family members so they can enjoy Cytavision with a personalized experience, from their own devices.
  • Parental Control is available so that you can protect family members from unsuitable content.

How do I choose the best package for me?

Cytavision offers a plethora of channels in all viewing categories, enabling subscribers to watch Cypriot, Greek channels as well as those in the General Interest, Movies & TV Series, Documentaries, Children’s Programmes, News, Music and Sports categories.

There are three home packages. Check which channels are included in each one and choose the best package according to your interests here.

Can I have more than one smart TV viewing?
Yes, you can ask for a 2nd and 3rd additional concurrent viewing with a monthly charge of €4,95/viewing, by contacting the Cyta Call Centre on 132, online via email, Live Chat, Facebook or Twitter and at any Cytashop, Cyta partner throughout Cyprus.
What should I do if I forget my Password?
Scan the QR Code on your TV App's log in screen to visit our website, find the "Forgot Password" link and follow the procedure.
Alternatively, through the CytavisionGo application or through the tvgo.cyta.com.cy website, you can click on the "Forgot my Password" link and follow the password change procedure.

How can I upgrade my subscription or buy an add-on Cytavision package?
From your TV:
From the slide-out menu, select “My Account” and then "My Subscriptions".
On the screen you will see:
The basic Cytavision package that you already have.
The basic packages that are available as upgrades as well as any available add-ons.
When you select a new package/add-on, you will be informed of the monthly charge to your account and then you will need to enter your Purchase PIN.
How do I downgrade my current package or terminate my Cytavision?
You can downgrade your package, remove any add-on or terminate your Cytavision service by contacting the Cyta Contact Centre on 132 or visiting any Cytashop.
What is the Admin password? Where can I find it?
The Admin Password gives you control over your Cytavision service. With this password you can connect to the application from your smart TV and also to the CytavisionGo application from your mobile phone, tablet or computer. In addition, you can create and edit additional profiles and change other PINs such as the Parental and Purchase PIN.
In case you do not know or have forgotten your Admin Password, you can reset it by scanning the QR code on your login screen or through your CytavisionGo application or through the website tvgo.cyta.com.cy, by selecting the link "Forgot my Password/Need Help".
Your new Admin Password must consist of 8 digits and include at least 1 uppercase letter, 1 lowercase letter and 1 number.
How do I change the password for my profile?
To change your password, open the slide-out menu, click on your Avatar and then the “Edit” symbol underneath your profile.  There, you can make changes to the profile you select, including your password. For the additional profiles, you have the option not to set a password.
What format should my password take?
The password for the Administrator and the Profiles must be 8 characters in length and include both letters and numbers and at least one capital letter (upper case) and one small letter (lower case).  The password of the additional Profiles must consist of 5 numbers. For the additional profiles, you have the option not to set a password.

How can I watch a programme that has already finished?
You can watch programs up to 7 days after their original broadcast. Select "Program" and then the day you are interested in. Next, locate the channel/program you are interested in and press OK. Finally, select "Play" to watch the program.
How do I change the subtitles and audio language?
To change the audio and subtitle language in the Cytavision TV App, select Settings (gear) from the slide-out menu.
Where can I find the programme for all the Cytavision channels?
From the slide-out menu, select "Guide".
How can I see what’s on other channels without changing the one I am watching?
Press OK to see the information for the channel you are watching. With the Left and Right arrows on the remote control you can navigate other channels without leaving the one you are watching. Alternatively press OK and with the arrows of the remote control select Channels. The channel list with the programmes will appear on your screen.
How do I manage my channels (favorites, locked)?
Any user can set favorite channels but only Admin can set locked channels. From the slide-out Menu, select your Profile (avatar), go to settings and then “Favorite/Manage Locked Channels”. Select the channels you wish to add as favorites/locked. The channels you set as Favorites will appear on the Home screen. The channels you choose to lock will ask for a Parental PIN every time you tune into them.
How do I rent a movie?
From the slide-out menu select Movie & Series. You can navigate through the categories, find info and watch trailers. Movies & Series are rented with a once off fee for 48 hours.
How can I see which movies I have rented?
You can see your movie rental history from “My Account” in the slide-out menu. Select “My purchases”.
How many profiles can I set up?
Only the Admin can create additional profiles. You can create up to 4 profiles in addition to the default Admin.
How do I set an age rating for a profile?
Only the Admin can set an age rating. From the slide-out Menu, go to settings and select “Parental Rating Level Sub-profiles are created with a “K” age rating.
How do I set an expense limit for a particular profile?
Only the Admin can set an expense limit. From the slide-out menu, select the Admin profile (avatar) go to any profile settings select on “Spending Limit" The maximum limit you can set is €50.
How do I switch from one profile to another?
From the slide-out menu select the profile you are connected with (avatar). You can then select the profile you want to switch to and enter the password (if needed).
What is and how can I set a “Default Profile”?
A Default Profile is the one that is automatically logged in when the TV App is activated with no need for password. To set a default profile, select the settings of your desired profile, click on "Default Profile" and enable the default profile option.
I have a picture but no sound. What can I do?
If the problem affects all channels, make sure that the volume is not muted or set low. If the problem persists, contact the Cyta Contact Centre on 132.
What happens if I enter the wrong password as Admin?
If you enter a wrong password, for 5 consecutive attempts, the app will be locked for 3 minutes. After that you can try again. If you are not sure about the correct password, you will need to follow the Change Password procedure.
What happens if I enter the wrong password for my Profile (not as Admin)?
If you enter a wrong Profile password, for 5 consecutive attempts, the app will be locked for 3 minutes. After that you can try again. If you are not sure about the correct password, you must ask them to change your Profile Password. The other Profiles will function normally.
What happens if I enter the wrong Purchase PIN?
If you enter a wrong Purchase PIN, the system will ask you to enter the correct one. After the 5th incorrect attempt, you will not be able to make a purchase for three minutes.
