The present terms govern the use of the Cytavision service (hereinafter the “Service”) via an application (TV App). The Cytavision Service through TV App provided by Cyta, enables Cytavision Subscribers to watch entertainment programmes, "Cytavision content", through an application on Smart TVs, provided that there is internet or a mobile network available (4G, 5G mobile network).
2. Access Method
The Service via a smart TV application (hereinafter the “TV App”) is offered to an existing or a new home Cytavision Subscriber (hereinafter the “Subscriber”) as an alternative way to access the basic Cytavision Service (which is currently provided through Cyta’s fixed broadband network and the use of the Set-Top-Box equipment). The content transmitted shall be determined by Cyta and shall be notified to the Subscriber through the address: Cytavision TV App | Cyta.
The TV App is provided in three versions depending on the type of Smart TV:
Android Application: for Android TVs etc. and is available on Google Play Store with an Android TV 7 software or a more recent one.
Samsung Application: for Samsung Smart TVs and is available on the Samsung App Store with a Tizen 4.0 software or a more recent one.
LG Application: LG Smart TVs and is available at the LG Content Store with a software WebOS4+ FHD or UHD.
The Service through TV App is governed by Cyta’s “General Agreement for the Provision of Electronic Communications Services” and the “Special Terms” of the Cytavision Service. More information can be found on Cyta’s website at General Agreement and Services Special Terms | Cyta.
3. Subscription Packages and prices
- The Service through TV App is provided through the basic home packages Value TV Pack, Variety TV Pack, and the Cyprus Football Package.
- The Variety TV Pack can only be provided to customers with Cyta internet.
- The Adult Pack (adult channels pack, Hustler Blue, VOD movies) is not available through the Cytavision TV App.

Cyta reserves the right to review the fees for its services in accordance with Cyta’s “General Agreement for the Provision of Electronic Communications Services” and the “Special Terms” of the Cytavision Service.
- Trial Pack
Every new customer of the Cytavision subscription service can activate the Trial Package and test the Service. The Trial Package is provided for a limited period of three (3) months free of charge. At the end of the three (3) months, if the customer does not request the termination of the Trial Package, they will automatically be transferred to the Value Pack package of the Service and will be charged with the corresponding monthly fee of the package. The Subscriber has the right to upgrade from the Trial Pack to one of Cytavision's basic packages (Value TV Pack, Variety TV Pack and Cyprus Football Pack). In this case, the Subscriber will be charged proportionally for the monthly fee of the new package from the date of its activation, as well as other fees for any additional packages or purchases.
The activation of the Trial package for Cyta customers shall be permitted only once within a period of 12 months.
4. Operation of the Cytavision TV App
The Service through TV App and the content transmitted via the service, are intended exclusively for home and not for commercial use. During the subscription to the Service through TV App, the Subscriber is provided with a limited, non- exclusive and non-transferrable right to access and view. The public viewing of the Service content through TV App is not permitted.
Viewing through TV App is possible within the government-controlled areas of the Republic of Cyprus and in countries of the European Union, where such content is licensed in accordance with European Regulation EU 2017/1128.
The use of the Service through TV App by minors is permitted only upon the consent of their guardian.
With the basic packages of the Service (Value TV Pack, Variety TV Pack and Cyprus Football Pack) it is possible to register one (1) TV device and three (3) mobile devices. Only two (2) devices will be able to transmit content simultaneously, regardless of device type (one (1) TV device and one (1) mobile device or only two (2) mobile devices).
For viewing on more than one (1) TV devices, the "Additional Viewing Package" is available. The maximum number of simultaneous TV viewings through the Service is three (3). In the event that the Subscriber has purchased the "Additional Viewing Package", the television devices in his/her premises will work simultaneously as long as they are connected to the same fixed broadband network.
The content and the functions of the Cytavision Service via TV App shall be updated on a regular basis and can be found on the website: Cytavision TV App | Cyta.
The Service through TV App allows the transmission of content on devices supporting the Cytavision Service software. Such software as well as the functionalities and the capabilities of the Service through TV App may vary depending on the appliance. Minimum download speed for SD/HD content is 10Mbps and for UHD content is 20Mbps.
Viewing quality of Cytavision content via TV App may vary from device to device and may be affected by factors such as the Subscriber's location, available bandwidth, internet or mobile network connection speed and device capabilities. The Subscriber is responsible for all internet or mobile network access charges. The Subscriber should contact his provider for information on possible internet or mobile data usage charges.
The Subscriber agrees to receive automatic updates of the Service application through TV App.
5. Passwords to access Cytavision application via TV App
The Username and the temporary password which will be used for access of the Subscriber to the Service through the TV App, shall be provided to the Subscriber upon the activation of the Service.
Upon the Subscriber using the temporary password during his first access to the Service, he/she will be asked to change to a new password. The Subscriber must choose a password that provides him/her with maximum security and protects him from interceptions.
The password is combined with the username (username) to access the Cytavision TV App Service.
In order to keep control of the account and avoid allowing others to access the account, the Subscriber should monitor all devices that support the Service through the TV App and which are used to access the service, and never reveal his/her username and password or details of the credit card linked to the account to third persons.
The Subscriber is responsible to monitor the use of the Parental Pin and the Purchase Pin as these are defined in Cyta’s “General Agreement for the Provision of Electronic
Communication Services” and the “Special Terms” of the Cytavision Service: General Agreement and Services Special Terms | Cyta.
The Subscriber is responsible for updating and maintaining the accuracy of information provided to Cyta.
Cyta reserves its right to disconnect or suspend the Service in order to protect the Subscriber, the Service or its partners against any fraudulent activities.
6.1 The subscription of "Value TV Pack" and "Variety TV Pack", during the provision and termination of the service is calculated and charged daily. The daily charge also applies during the month of upgrade or downgrade depending on the days of the month in each package.
6.2 The subscription of the "Cyprus Football" package during the month of its provision, and of the "additional sports packages" during the month of their activation, is calculated and charged daily.
6.3 The subscription of the "Cyprus Football" package during the month of termination of the service is charged on a daily basis, excluding the month of activation.
6.4 The subscription of the "additional sports packages" during the month of termination of the service or the deactivation of the "additional sports packages" is charged on a daily basis, excluding the month of activation.
7. Exclusion of Liability
7.1 The Service is provided as is, and Cyta does not guarantee the continuous provision thereof and shall not be liable for occasional access failure and/or unsatisfactory quality of signal and image/sound, for occasional shortcomings in the function of the user interface.
7.2 Cyta is not responsible for the quality, adequacy and security of third-party networks used and/or to be used to provide the Cytavision TV App Service, as well as for the shortcomings and/or unsatisfactory reception of services due to the Subscriber's device or equipment or any inappropriate use and/or misuse of the equipment or any insufficient or inappropriate infrastructure of the Subscriber on the premises (including cabling) and does not bear any responsibility to replace, maintain, upgrade or repair either the equipment or the infrastructure of the Subscriber.
7.3 Cyta shall not be liable for any permanent or temporary weaknesses of the subscriber’s internet service when this service is not provided by Cyta.

Cyta reserves its right to terminate the Service immediately without prior notice in the event that the Subscriber is in breach of these Terms or Use.
The Subscriber may terminate Cyta’s Cytavision Service by contacting Cyta at any Cyta shops and the Call Center on 132.
10. Personal Data
Cyta will process the personal data of the Subscriber to provide the Service, for its support and for invoicing purposes. Personal data shall be kept throughout the duration of the Subscriber's contract.
Cyta will send the Subscriber information regarding the Service (e.g. password changes, confirmation messages, notifications) by text message (SMS) to the mobile phone or by e-mail to the e-mail address, provided to Cyta for digital assistance.
