Now you have full control of Mobile Internet usage

We provide you with the tools to ensure that you have full control when using Mobile Internet on your mobile phone or Mobile Broadband on your tablet or laptop. According to the device you are using you will receive in real time SMS’s when your usage reaches 70% and 100% of the volume included in your tariff plan.

  1. If you are using Mobile Internet through one of the monthly tariff plans, you will receive an SMS once the volume included in your tariff plan has reached 70%. You will also be given the chance to add an extra bundle.
  2. When your usage reaches 100% you will be notified and be able to add an extra bundle again. To add an extra bundle, you can send an SMS with “ADDMI” to 8000 or register on My Cyta app | Cyta
  3. If you choose to add an extra bundle, then you will receive a notification that you have successfully added a bundle and you will be notified again when use 100% of your extra bundle. If you choose not to add an extra bundle, the Mobile Internet connection will be interrupted and you will receive an SMS with instructions on how to add a package.
  4. If you are not using Mobile Internet through a monthly plan but you are using the daily package (Daily Plan), the connection will be interrupted when the Mobile Internet bill reaches €50 within a month, and you will be given the option to remove the limit until the end of the current month. You can remove the limit until the end of the month by sending an SMS with “OFFLIMIT” to 8000. To get information about your Mobile Internet usage, you can send an SMS with DLU to 8000 from the device you are using.

Notes:

  • Sending an SMS to 8000 is free if sent from Cyprus and is charged according to roaming fees if sent from abroad.
  • For the Mobile Broadband service sending and receiving sms can be done through the dashboard that is installed in your device.
  • If you add an extra bundle you will be notified once you consume 100% of the additional bundle.
  • If you choose not to add a bundle at 70% and 100% then the connection will be interrupted at 100%. You can add an additional bundle by sending an SMS with “ADDMI” to 8000.
  • If you choose to add an extra bundle but do not consume any volume from that bundle by the end of the month then there will be no charge.
