Contract Details

1. Installation Fee

The Broadband Telephony installation fee is free of charge if a Broadband connection already exists or €40 if a new Broadband connection needs to be installed.

The installation fee of Internet Home and Cytavision (with Set-Top-Box, STB) Services is €29 each which can either be paid once-off or in 10 Monthly Installments. If both Services are ordered together then the connection fee for both services is €48. For the Internet Home Service there is also the option of Self Installation which is charged at  €19 instead of €29 and is available for services with speeds up to 50Mbps.

No installation fee applies for Cytavision with a smart TV Application.

2. Termination

Upon termination of Internet Home and Cytavision (with STB) services the equipment provided by Cyta for the operation of the services must be returned to Cyta.  If the equipment is not returned there will be a charge of €35,70 for Internet Home Services and €95,20 per STB for Cytavision.

3. Features for end-users with disabilities

People with special needs:

• 50% discount on the monthly subscription fee for the Internet Home service.
• The monthly subscription ee for broadband access, amounting to €13.00, is provided free of charge.
• If the customer chooses to include fixed telephony, the relevant monthly charge, amounting to €4.70, is also provided free of charge

Low income customers:

• 50% discount on the Telephony monthly subscription.

4. Other Relevant Information’s

Cyta shall notify the Subscriber at least one (1) month before the date of application of new fees/rates and for its right to terminate in accordance with Term 13.5 of the General Agreement for the Provision of Electronic Communications.

Internet Home Service

a. Package features.

Internet Home services include:

• Enhanced protection against online threats with the SafeWeb service.
• Free modem with Wi-Fi and router functionalities.
• One free e-mail address.
• Free provision of antivirus and antispam email protection.
• Free Technical Service and Customer Support via 132.

b. The 2nd Internet Home service

The discount is offered on the connection with the lowest price. The 2nd Internet Home provides only internet connectivity.

c. Other discounts

• Large families: 20% discount on the Monthly Subscription.
  It is noted that the above fees include the Telephony together with the broadband access fee amounting to €17,70 which does not benefit from the professional groups and large families’ discounts.
• Internet Youth: Special rates apply for customers from 18 to 30 years of age. More information: www.cyta.com.cy/internet-youth/en.

d. Access to the internet is offered as follows

1. Advertised speed - this is the speed that is advertised for each product.
2. Maximum speed - this is the same as the advertised speed.
3. Normally available speed - this is at least 90% of the maximum speed and is available to the end user twenty-four hours a day.
4. Minimum speed - this is defined as 80% of the maximum speed.

Cytavision Service

Cytavision is Cyta’s subscription TV which is provided via three basic packages.
Value Pack: Thematic content form all genres like free-to-air Cypriot Channels, News Channels, Documentaries, Kids και General Interest Channels etc.
Variety Pack: Enriched thematic content from all genres like free-to-air Cypriot Channels, News Channels, Documentaries, Kids, General Interest Channels and Cinema Channels.
Cyprus Football Basic Pack: Includes Cyprus Football via the Cytavision Sports HD 1-2, Cablenet Sports HD 1-2, Primetel Sports HD channels and also includes free-to-air Cypriot channels.

The additional sports packages are added to the basic Cytavision packages:
Cyprus Football: Includes Cyprus Football via the Cytavision Sports HD 1-2, Cablenet Sports 1, Primetel Sports 1.
International Football: Includes International Football events and other sports via the Cytavision Sports HD 3-7, Cablenet Sports 2-3, Primetel Sports 2-3 and NBA TV channels.
