Cyta acts to help contain the spread of COVID-19

In view of the latest developments, Cyta is actively participating in the effort to contain COVID-19. The company is strictly adhering to the directives issued by the State and the responsible government services.

Giving priority to its customers, Cyta has increased the upstream speed of the Cytanet Internet Home service, for as long as measures remain in place to deal with the emergency. The upgrade enables efficient teleworking and helps business activity continue.

At the same time, Cyta is taking additional steps to reinforce overall efforts and focuses on the following:

Customer
Service

In order to restrict the gathering of customers inside Cytashops, the Organisation’s customers are urged to make use of the online services that Cyta provides on its website www.cyta.com.cy.

These services include:

(a) purchase of products and services – In the case of purchasing devices, free home delivery is available.

(b) onlinebill payment at www.cyta.com.cy/ebill-quick-pay, and at www.jccsmart.com.cy.

(c) management of each customer’s services at www.cyta.com.cy/login.

Personnel

Given that the Organisation’s people interact with the rest of Cypriot society, daily guidelines are prepared and sent to personnel with respect to travel abroad, vulnerable groups, etc.

At the same time, plans are under way to ensure business continuity through special arrangements for teleworking, wherever necessary.

Additionally, special measures are being studied and implemented for members of the Organisation’s personnel who come into direct contact with customers as part of their service provision duties.

General
Public

Bearing in mind the measures announced by the CFA regarding games of the next two matchdays of the Cyprus Football League Championship being played behind closed doors, Cyta has decided that the Cytavision subscriber platform will broadcast the games of the next two matchdays, featuring teams included in its agreement with the CFA, on the Cyprus Broadcasting Corporation’s free-to-air channel.

Depending on developments and the relevant directives issued by the State Services, the Organisation’s measures will be updated. Information will be provided to customers and the general public at Cyta’s various points of contact.

The Cyta Call Centre on 132 is available to customers and the general public for further information. At the same time, assistance to Cyta’s Business Customers will continue to be provided on 150.
