Mr Nicos Laouris was born in Paphos and graduated with honors from D’ Lyceum of Paphos. After his graduation from high school he completed his military service and then he went to Italy where he studied Journalism at Universita di Urbino. He continued his studies in USA at Boston University (MA) where he obtained a Bachelor degree in Economics (Collage of Liberal Arts) and an MBA degree also from Boston University (MA). Mr Laouris worked at New World Bank at Boston Massachusetts and he completed an executive course at Harvard Business School, he speaks fluently Greek, English and Italian.
In 1990 he founded his company Laouris Home Style and he is the Managing Director since then, he has also served as Executive Director at Interno (Limassol) Ltd from 2003 to 2011. He has served as member of the board of CCCI (Cyprus Chamber of Commerce and Industry) from 2006 to 2008 and member of the board at Paphos Chamber of Commerce and Isdustry from 2002 to 2014.
Since 1991 he is member of Round Table Cyprus and has served as president of RT7 Paphos from September 1997 to August 1998.
He was appointed as member of the board of Directors of the Cyprus Telecommunications Authority (Cyta), since August 2021.
