The evaluation process for each application for sponsorship will take into consideration the scope of the event/activity, its importance to society and the country, its target audience, its relevance to Cyta, its products and the Organisation’s corporate and commercial aims.

Key aims of the sponsorship policy framework

A key criterion that will be taken into consideration during the evaluation process for applications for sponsorship is the extent to which an application promotes the goals of Cyta’s sponsorship policy, which are the following:

  1. To be associated with dynamic events, with the aim of gaining a high degree of public memorability.
  2. To be associated with events that justify additional activities by the Organisation, aiming at promoting a closer association with its areas of interest.
  3. To choose events in which the benefits offered to Cyta (i.e. publicity, promotion of its logo(s), complementary tickets, etc.) correspond to the value of its sponsorship and are at least equal in value to the benefits offered to other similarly involved sponsors.
Rules governing the sponsorship policy framework
  1. School initiatives and activities.
Cyta does not sponsor any school activities. It supports Education through far-reaching actions taken in conjunction with the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sport and Youth which cover the overall Education sector, as a whole.
