What is safeMobile
safeMobile is an application that will help your child understand how to use his mobile phone safely. Install the application on the smartphone your child will use and you can:
• Choose who can call or send sms to your child.
• Restrict or block functions including internet connection, applications downloading, and the camera.
• See on the map where your child is.
Where can I find the safeMobile app?
The application is available on google’s play store.
How do I allow or block an application on my child’s phone?
You can allow or block an application either from your child’s phone or from our webpage.

From your child’s phone, after you install the app, “select applications” and add or remove an application.

How do I stop my child from using SMS messages?
To block your child from sending or receiving SMSes follow the answer instructions of question 2. SMSes are handled by the messaging application.
How do I control who contacts my child?
From your child’s phone, after you install the app, “select contacts” and add or remove the contact details of the people who can communicate with your child.

What happens if there is an emergency and my child needs to use the phone?
Your child is always able to call 112 provided there is network reception and available battery.
How do I stop my child from uninstalling the “safeMobile” app?
You need a username and a pin to install the application on the phone. Without the pin the application cannot be altered or uninstalled.
How do I change my password?
Log in to our webpage, go to the “safeMobile” page and follow the instructions. Then, make sure you get the childs handset on your hands, exit the safeMobile application, then log in to the application again with the new credentials.
What do I do if I forget my password?
Log in to our webpage, go to the “safeMobile” page where you can view your password.
How do I change the settings that I selected when I installed safeMobile?
You can change the settings from your child’s phone or from our webpage.

From your child’s phone, “exit” safeMobile and “re-enter” the app to change the settings accordingly.

How can I see my child’s usage?
Log in to our webpage; go to the “safeMobile” page; “Activity” where you can view your child’s usage.
How do I deactivate safeMobile?
If you press your phone’s menu it will bring up the ‘Exit’ option. Click on the exit button and safeMobile will be deactivated.
How do I uninstall safeMobile?
To uninstall safeMobile go to ‘Settings’ on the phone, select ‘Applications’, and then uninstall safeMobile.
Which phones are supported by safeMobile?
safeMobile is compatible with most Android phones running Android 2.1 or higher. The application is not available for devices with other operating systems, such as ios (iphone) or symbian (i.e. nokia).
I have two children. Can I use the same log in credentials?
Yes, you can use the same log in credentials if you install the safeMobile application into different mobile devices.
Can I install the safeMobile application on one device twice?
No, the same application cannot be installed two or more times in one device.
