All Cytashops to close, telephone service increased

Following the latest measures announced today by the Government, Cyta has responded immediately to the new situation and, with the aim of ensuring the health of its customers and personnel and, by extension, broader society, has taken the following decisions:

  1. All Cytashops inside Shopping Malls and Department Stores across Cyprus will remain closed from 6am on Monday 16 March 2020 for four weeks.
  2. Additionally, all other Cytashops in Cyprus will remain closed from Tuesday 17 March 2020 until further notice.
  3. Cyta will only accept online payment of bills. At the same time, no services will be disconnected for non-payment of bills.
  4. The Cyta Call Centre on 132 remains available to customers and the general public, while Business Customers will continue to receive assistance on 150.
  5. Cytashop customers can call 132 for service. To this end, Cytashop personnel will increase the availability of telephone service, help customers with the use of the Organisation’s online service channels and provide telephone assistance in cases where the physical presence of the customer is normally required.
  6. Although some Cytashops will be open until 6pm on Monday, it is recommended that customers limit their visits so as to avoid large gatherings in closed spaces, in accordance with the restrictions imposed by the latest Government directives.
  7. Customers of the Organisation are urged to use Cyta’s online services by visiting www.cyta.com.cy.

    These services include:

    (a) purchase of products and services – In the case of purchasing devices, free home delivery is available.
