How can I connect to my website’s control panel?
You can login by following the link https://webhosting.cytanet.com.cy:8443, by using the credentials given to you upon activation of your website.
How can I change the password of my website’s control panel?
You can change it by logging in to the control panel and then selecting “Edit Profile” from the menu located under your username located at the upper right corner of the control panel.
How can I upgrade my website’s disk quota?

How can I login with an FTP client?
You can login with an FTPS client using the ftp passwords of your account.
How do I change my FTP password?
You can change it by selecting the FTP Access and then the username.
How do I change my MySQL password?
You can change it by choosing “Databases” and then clicking on the username of the database you wish to change the password for.
Which PHP version can I use?
The default PHP is 5.6.25. Available versions are 7.0.10, 5.5.38, 5.4.45, 5.4.16, 5.3.29 and 5.2.17. You can change the PHP version by selecting the «Hosting Settings" on the control panel. It is important to know that by changing the version of PHP may cause problems in the functionality of your website.

PHP is a server-side scripting language that facilitates the creation of dynamic Web pages by embedding PHP-coded logic in HTML documents. It combines many of the finest features of Perl, C and Java and adds its own elements to the concoction to give Web programmers great flexibility and power in designing and implementing dynamic, content-oriented Web pages.

What is CGI (Common Gateway Interface)?
CGI is a standard for interfacing external applications with information servers, such as HTTP or Web servers. A plain HTML document that the Web daemon retrieves is static, which means it exists in a constant state: a text file that doesn't change. A CGI program, on the other hand, is executed in real-time, so that it can output dynamic information.
What is Perl (Practical Extraction and Reporting Language)?
Perl is an interpreted language optimized for scanning arbitrary text files, extracting information from those files, and printing reports based on that information. It embodies powerful operations such as regular expression substitution, and an expression syntax that corresponds quite closely to that in C. It also supports dynamically scoped variables and functions, nested data structures and exception handling. Although optimized for scanning text, Perl can also deal with binary data.

Yes. You will need an SSL certificate which can be obtained from companies specializing in this field. You can install the SSL certificate by selecting "SSL Certificates" on the control panel of your website.
How often are backup files created and for how long are they kept?
Backup files are automatically created on a daily basis and are kept for eight weeks.
Can I create additional backup files?
Additional backup files can be created by selecting "Backup Manager" in Control Panel.
Αre backup files included in the disk space quota of my package?
Backup files created automatically by the system are not included in the disk space quota of your package. Backup files created using the "Backup Manager" are included in the capacity of your package.
