Support and assist, through an organized and systematic basis, with cooperation of other public and private bodies, young entrepreneurs to develop ideas and attract investment opportunities that will transform their ideas, into successful start-up companies.

Strategic Partnerships

	Strategic Partnership with CYBAN (Cyprus Business Angels Network) Cyta is a strategic technology partner of CYBAN. The Capital Impact Powered by Cyta will be the incubator of business ideas as well as the accelerator for the conversion of business ideas into successful startups by providing workspace, training, advisory services, mentoring and the possibility of attracting private capital investment by business angels - members of Cyban. With this partnership, Cyta will help young entrepreneurs take part in Capital Impact and will provide opportunities for Cyta to invest in business ideas. CYBAN Capital Impact powered by Cyta, accommodates all the start-up community of Cyprus (CYBAN, CEL, CHRYSALIS LEAP, JA-YE etc).
	Partnership with Junior Achievement - Young Enterprise (JA-YE) Cyprus JA-YE is a global non-profit organization which through a range of training programs is trying to implant business, financial and employability skills in children and young people from 4-22 years old. It is implemented in many countries with millions of participants in it. The JA Cyprus is a member of JA Europe which was founded in 1989 and has 39 member countries, 135,000 teachers 130,000 business mentors and volunteers and more than three million participants-students. JA-YE Cyprus was founded in 2011. In collaboration with the Ministry of Education and Culture they have included, as part of the academic program in secondary schools (public and private), the "Company Program”. This program gives the students an opportunity, through their ideas and skills and also through the guidance of their teachers (who pass through special education), to create and develop a miniature of a company. 	Industry Disruptors - Game Changers Strategic partnership with Industry Disruptors - Game Changers (ID-GC), for organizing the Global Entrepreneurship Week (Global Entrepreneurship week - GEW) 2014, in Cyprus. “The scope of the GEW Cyprus campaign is to ignite an entrepreneurial ecosystem, which fosters economic growth and job creation; an entrepreneurial community that engages the nation to celebrate ideas, encourage start-ups, and unite as a nation to promote Cypriot ideas in a global world.” More information on the events of GEW Cyprus 2014 as well as other useful information can be found on.
	Capital Impact Powered by Cyta The Capital Impact Powered by Cyta is operated by CYBAN, in an area of 900 sq.m. and is located in Nicosia. It is an incubator and accelerator for startups, with main emphasis in the area of ICT (Information and Communication Technology). To Capital Impact, started its operation in February 2015 and provides a common workplace, infrastructure and value-added services such as mentoring, training, workshops and seminars to startups housed there. 	MIC Cyprus The MICs are state of the art technology facilities for collaboration on innovative research, technology or software solutions, involving a combination of government, academic and industry participants. There are now more than 100 MICs worldwide which play a vital role in fostering innovation in the country in which they operate, by generating powerful new ideas through training, education and knowledge transfer. Microsoft and strategic partners in each community work together to operate the MICs, which are centers open to students, professional software developers, entrepreneurs, startups and academic researchers. The main fields of activity of Microsoft Innovation Centre in Cyprus include: Developing skills and workforce Partnerships between Enterprise and Industry Solutions and Innovation through accelerators Incubators for startups companies Education Development of business and technical skills Showcase for presentation of solutions and services of the MIC’s partners Cyta is a strategic partner of MIC Cyprus which is housed at the European University in Nicosia.
