miVision STADIUM!
CYTA’s pioneering miVision
service, maintaining its commitment to constantly improving its
content, officially announced that it has obtained the rights to
live broadcasts of matches from the Cypriot, Greek, Italian and
Brazilian football leagues. The announcement was made during an
event organised at a hotel in Nicosia on February 28, which was
attended by a group of invited guests from the world of sport and
especially football.
During the course of the evening, CYTA honoured Mr.
Marios Lefkaritis for his significant contribution to both Cypriot
and international football through his membership of the UEFA
Executive Committee, which is also considered an honour for Cyprus.
In addition to being briefed about miVision’s
football rights, the guests also had a chance to see the service
first-hand and to learn about its potential and advantages.
miVision service transmits digital picture and
sound via the telephone line and a set-top box. A pioneering service
in the subscription TV sector, it responds fully to customer
