Press Release: 24/2003 Free Data Service with Cytagsm Subscription package
Since April 21 2003, the Data Service (9600bps) has been included free of charge for subscribers to CYTA's Cytagsm mobile telephony service. No application is required and there are no connection fees or subscription charges.
Via the Data Service (9600bps), CYTA customers can use their wap-enabled mobile phones to access cybee services for entertainment, directory enquiries, share prices, news, late night pharmacies and other information.
Also, by connecting their mobile phone to a portable computer, customers also have e-mail access and can download information from the Internet.
Instructions concerning wap settings for GPRS or Data 600bps access are available on the web page www.cytagsm.cyta.com.cy.
