Press Release: 113/2003 Visitors receive welcoming text message from CYTA  From Monday, December 22nd, 2003, the CYTAGSM mobile telephony service will be sending text messages to foreign visitors, welcoming them to its mobile network. These messages contain information useful to visitors, and assistance with using their mobile phone while in Cyprus. They form part of a number of facilities provided by CYTAGSM to visitors with the aim of offering a sense of hospitality and encouraging them to use its mobile network.  In the context of new roaming facilities, visitors will now be able to use their home short codes to call their voice mail, customer care, etc. In addition, CYTAGSM will automatically correct the most common dialing errors. For example, in cases where a visitor dials using his/her mobile phone-book, which is usually programmed for calls within their country of origin, CYTAGSM will automatically add the international code of their home country.  Public Relations Department 19 December 2003 Press Releases Archive 2003
