Press Release: 03/2001 Reduction in CytaNet’s monthly subscription charges
As from January 1st 2001, the Cyprus Telecommunications Authority offers new reduced rates for monthly, three-month, six-month and yearly subscriptions to basic services, as well as almost all business products of the CytaNet service. The reductions are introduced following a reduction of costs for the supply of the CytaNet service and a significant rise in the number of its customers, in particular within the business world. They also show CYTA’s commitment in meeting its clients’ specific needs and adapting to the continuously changing market conditions, contributing decisively in the successful transition of Cyprus to the Information Society.
The monthly subscription charge for CytaNet connection is reduced from £7 to £6,50. Additionally, apart from monthly subscription charges, CYTA offers, for the first time since the beginning of CytaNet’s operation, three-month, six-month and yearly subscription charges. Specifically, the new charges for the basic services are the following:
