New-look Yellow Pages! As part of CYTA’s continuous upgrading process which aims at providing the best possible service to its customers, the Authority unveiled its new-look Yellow Pages directory on Thursday, February 10 at the Hilton Hotel in Nicosia.
The Yellow Pages, which will be distributed in November 2000, have been visibly enhanced with a completely new structure and design. Not only are they a useful addition to the alphabetical telephone directory but they have been transformed into an attractive market guide in which advertisements have become more effective.
In their new form, the Yellow Pages have been divided into separate sections for each district, and they come with the district alphabetical directory. The exception is the Nicosia volume which, because of its size, will be published separately.
Customers wishing to advertise in the Yellow Pages now have a greater range of choices. The advertisements have been given a new style and a new look and, for the first time, full-colour advertising is possible in the main body of the directory as well as in the introductory pages. This has greatly improved their presentation. The Yellow Pages now enable advertisers to offer discount coupons to customers.
The introduction has been enriched with a range of interesting information, making the Yellow Pages a unique tool for obtaining information. The improved index makes it easier for users to find whatever they require.
A further significant improvement concerns the way in which CYTA communicates with its customers. An islandwide network of advertising consultants has been created, providing personal visits to customers who wish to advertise in the Yellow Pages. These visits are of an advisory nature and aim at informing customers about the new choices offered by the Yellow Pages and the effective promotion of their products and services in the directory.
